East Midlands
There is a lot to celebrate in the East Midlands! We have a Local Movement in Leicester and are excited to be supporting the church-based 100 Homes campaign with Nottingham City Council. Elsewhere, champions are working together to impact their towns, villages and cities.
We are developing strong partnerships with local authorities across the region as well to help them recruit foster carers and to find homes for unaccompanied minors they’ll be helping via the Dubs Amendment. The response of local people in churches to care for vulnerable children and wrap around carers through Home for Good has really encouraged them to consider formal agreements with us to help them meet the incredible demand for foster placements.
With a growing number of champions and support groups across the region, this is a great time to be a part of the Home for Good movement in the East Midlands.
Our fostering partners in the region include, Leicester City Council, Nottingham City Council and not-for-profit independent fostering agency The Foster Care Cooperative.
Our adoption partners are Adoption Focus and St Francis Children’s Society. Together they also run the Triangle Project focusing on early permanence for children.
