Father's Day 2020

Father’s Day will look very different this year. For some, Father’s Day is a chance to celebrate the love they have been given by the men who raised them. For others it is a reminder of lost loved ones, lost hopes and dreams for a family they cannot have, or painful memories of men who were not able to offer a good model of loving care. Home for Good wants to equip churches to be a place where all stories of human fatherhood can be brought before our perfect and loving Father in worship and prayer.

Father's Day 2020

How Home for Good is responding to the coronavirus crisis.

There are 2.3 million vulnerable children known to social services in the UK, many of whom are now at heightened risk resulting from lockdown policies. Families are under pressure and children are not being seen as regularly, if at all, by teachers and social workers. There is an expectation throughout the sector that many thousands of children will come into care in the next few months – both now in an emergency situation, and when time passes as children return to their regular routines.
